The little-known anti-war war game series Cannon Fodder suffered many injustices over the years, including inevitable ports to inferior mobile formats and the cancellation of a third chapter that would have ushered it into the 3-D era.

But you can’t have everything in life and when the development house Sensible Software was sold to the bleak house of Codemasters, gamers couldn’t have been too surprised when Cannon Fodder was put out to pasture, presumably for good.

Good thing the Sensible guys got to shoot a completely unnecessary, yet entertaining music video for Cannon Fodder featuring their catchy song (and slogan), “War Has Never Been So Much Fun!”

We salute you and your video, Sensible. You were clearly having too much fun to be in the games industry.
