Exclusives

Competing console hardware often is very similar — similar horsepower, similar controllers, similar price points and so on. The biggest differential is software. First party software is important but so are third party exclusives and console makers like Sony and Microsoft will often pony up big bucks to get a hot title exclusively to their platform. However, not all exclusives are made equal.
