Montezuma’s Revenge

Montezuma’s Revenge

Montezuma’s Revenge was a 1984 Parker Brothers adventure/2-D platformer game that appeared on many game consoles, but is mostly renowned for being the only videogame whose title is a direct synonym for diarrhea. Except, of course, for Daikatana.

Oh, how I was obsessed with this proto-platformer when I was a wee lad. We also had another game labelled “Montezuma II” on a totally-not-pirated floppy disk, but I suspect it was either a hacked or unfinished game. Graphics were a little different and there was no title screen, or music.

Also see “Spot” and “Deuce”.

A “Deuce” is not necessarily diarrhea. However, diarrhea is always a deuce.

Damn your poo logic!
