X-Wing, Thrilling Tales of Container Searching From

Mauve Squadron: Long Distance Scanners!
Jason McFadden had spotted the container ships. There they were. Five container ships floating aimlessly, alone in deep space. Certainly suspicious and definitely no time to let his guard down! Jason increased engine power to his X-Wing to get within scanning range of the container group. Almost there. Almost there. Then! Suddenly! Behind the third container… a heretofore unseen sixth container! The sweat poured from his face. Would the sixth container also contain miscellaneous parts for refrigeration repair? Yes.
Tonight We Search, Tomorrow We Die!
Two Y-Wings were flying home. After 4 hours it was done. Chris Patterson and George Dove had just finished a scouting mission and searched all of the hundreds of containers at the Kyatt shipyards for explosive materials that could be repurposed as bombs in advance of an important rebel military attack on the Imperial stronghold. They congratulated themselves for a job well done — tomorrow they would be in X-Wings attacking the very containers they just scanned. Or so they thought. Turns out it was just the semi-annual inventory check.
Cage Of Trouble: Gundarks Aplenty!
“Biological Lifeforms Detected” read the scanner. The lone container was hotter than the triple suns of Jattooine! It was wall-to-wall gundarks destined for the Imperial City Zoo. It had been out here for a while. Hungry gundarks meant trouble for everyone involved. Good thing Samuel Jose Cruz’s middle was Trouble. He moved in closer for a high resolution scan. Yep. Gundarks. Eighty-four of them in one cage. He prepared to dock with the container. Blaster? Check. Comm? Check. Electroblade? Check. Gundark spray? Check. He remembers his training. He breathes in deeply. In. Out. In. Out. Is he ready? Now was the time. When men become heroes. When the ordinary become extraordinary. He towed the container to the zoo and was thanked for his trouble.
Are You Sure These Are Just Copies Of Incorporation Documents?!
Simon Copper repeated the question. “Are you sure these are just copies of incorporation documents?” The comm channel crackled to life, “yes.”
